Mr. Terry Bishop

Terry Bishop is a founder member of the British Egyptian Society and has been on its management board since that foundation. Coming from higher education, he was closely involved in the planning and delivery of the conference organised by the Society in 2012 with the theme of "Education: the Best Investment". This was a two centre event in Cairo and London. He was Registrar and Director of Institutional Development at the School of Oriental and African Studies and also held senior posts at University College London and Birkbeck, University of London. After formal retirement he became Facilitator of the consortium of six University of London colleges in Bloomsbury. He is currently Chair of the James Madison Trust for the Study of Federal Systems
